The Challenge
Large areas of the home's exterior were covered in heavy irrigation rust staining. Ordinary pressure washing was not enough to address the problem, and the homeowner wanted a properly prepared surface before repainting.
Our Solution
After inspecting the property, Tropical Wave applied a professionally prepared oxalic acid treatment designed to break down the stubborn rust deposits. The treatment was followed by a thorough exterior house wash and rinse.
The Results
The irrigation rust staining was completely removed. The homeowner's exterior was left clean and ready for proper priming and painting, without having to rely on primer to conceal remaining rust.
